Dear Robert and Family, My deepest condolences on the passing of Catherine. I worked with her for many years at Hillcrest and went on several mini trips to the casino with her. We laughed and cried both at school and beyond. May her memories be a blessing for all of you at this difficult time.

From the moment I met Catherine 20 years ago, we bonded instantly. She was honest, genuine and loyal to everyone she loved. I could always count on her to be there for me, to tell me what I needed to hear. Catherine was small but mighty, and wore her heart on her sleeve. She was a tell it like it is kind of person, and I am so blessed to have known her. Catherine, you will always have a very special place in my heart. Rest easy my friend. Robert, Lee, Pauline, Sydney, Charlotte, Sophie and all the family, I'm so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the wonderful memories during this difficult time. xo

Olga Cioci - March 17, 2023

Catherine was an amazing force of nature who always acted with integrity and compassion. She stood up against injustice without thought to her own personal consequences. Catherine didn’t put up with nonsense - she cut right to the heart of a matter, usually with an ear-catching phrase that said it all! I’m so glad to have been able to have known and laughed and worked with her. She was an inspiration for me. My deepest condolences to all her family. May your memories of happier times help you through this most difficult one.

Dearest Campbell family, Catherine was a woman of strength, love and integrity. She was a mentor that I looked up to and cherished all the years we worked together. From our bussing days to the classroom, Catherine was always there. We cried, we laughed and when we did laugh it was from the gut. We were 5 amazing Hillcrest woman (CC, RE, PB, BP & GM) that loved every minute we spent together. Catherine was the light and laughter in this group. You will be missed. Have a cup of tea with Rhea in heaven. ♥️ My sincerest condolences to the entire Campbell family. My heart is so sad. Love Gianna xoxo

Diana Bick - March 16, 2023

I worked with "Cathy Smith"- I used to tease her with that name during our years at Hillcrest School. Catherine was a woman who knew her own mind and spoke her truth. She would tell me stories about when she was young and how tough she had to be at times. Underneath all her bravery was a soft hearted, emotional, funny, and generous person. She will be so missed by her family - they were her whole world. "Bicky"
