BOSGRA – Ijtje “Eadie” Ytje (nee Nydam) – Peacefully on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Golden Plough Lodge, Cobourg, at the age of 99. Beloved wife of the late Egbert. Loving mother of Annetta (Ed) Norman, Reta (Richard) Raczkowski, Sylvia (Robert) Anderson, the late Peter (Joanne) Bosgra, Margaret (Ian) McKie and Jennifer (Joe) Peristy. Cherished grandmother to 17 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Eadie was predeceased by her three brothers and one sister. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 11 a.m. with visitation from 10-11 a.m. at Grace Christian Reformed Church, 440 King St. E., Cobourg. Donations to the Grace Christian Reformed Church would be appreciated. The family would like to thank the staff of the Golden Plough Lodge for her many years of excellent care.

I had the pleasure of caring for Eadie for many years. Rest in paradise Eadie, you will be forever missed.
So sad to hear about your mother’s passing. I fondly remember her friendship from so many years ago in Maple Grove.
My dearest nieces and families: Please know the Bosgra family in the West will be with you in thought and spirit as you celebrate your beloved mother’s life and lay her to rest. She was a wonderful Sister-in-law and I will always treasure the times we spent together. “Eternal rest grant unto Eadie, oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her dear soul”.
