My condolences to the Bailey family on the loss of Marjorie. My mother, Edith Peters thought a lot of Marjorie and her dedication to ensuring that Salem United Church would remain an active part of this community. I often returned to Salem for Church events and was always pleased to see Marjorie who greeted me with kind words and a big smile. This world needs more people like her.

Making a donation to honour your mother. Both Tom and my families grew up with all of you and later, my daughters attended Brownies at the Salem Church where your mother was Brown Owl with Doris Simpson. Your mother was always kind and smiling. Enjoyed visiting with all of you at the visitation Sunday.
Earl, Donna Carol Theresa and Mars I was very sorry to read of your mothers passing and wish to send my sympathy to you all. I remember your mother well from the good old South Cramahe days. You all hold a special place in my memories. Al Curtis
Dear Earl and all of the girls I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. It is one of life's most toughest moments I have found. There will be a huge void in your lives but only time will erase the pain leaving, only the warm kind memories for you to hold on to forever. It has been many years since our time in school but it seems like only yeserday. Be well Earl, and I would love to reconnect with you when things settle down for you. Take care my friend!

Jill Fenaughty - February 19, 2023 Marjorie Bailey was one of the solid mother's of Salem. She, like my mother Ruth, and others, exuded both gentleness and strength at the same time. You could count on them. They worked tirelessly on behalf of others. Although I no longer live in Salem, I looked forward most years to stopping in at the Bailey's Farm and Greenhouses to pick out flowers with Marjorie for our cottage at Presqu'ile. Living in Toronto, a visit to Salem and to the Bailey's Farm and Greenhouses was grounding. One year, not long ago, Marjorie's mauve wave petunia's came back from the year before. I felt immediate joy. I concluded it must be due to the "magic of Marjorie". My thoughts are with the Bailey family at this time.
