Dear Facey Family - I am so sorry to hear of Gord's passing. He definitely was a staple along with Earl at Cobourg Lumber and I have so many good memories of them joking around out in the lumber yard, it was a fun place to visit! Gord was a kind, gentle soul who will be missed by many. Hold tight to your memories as they will comfort you in the days ahead.

Sorry for your loss. Gord was a good friend of my parents (Roy & June Hempstead) for a number of years. Dad always told the story of being one of the first to meet Gord when he came to Cobourg from the east coast; and all the good times they had at the Cobourg beach in the early days swimming and playing ball. The four of them (Gord & your Mom and Mom & Dad) went to lots of different events jurying their time.

Sorry to hear of Gord’s passing. I can’t imagine what it would have been like growing up in Gore’s Landing without Gord and the Facey family. He was always there to lend a hand when we needed him. Condolences to the entire family.

I am Very sorry to hear of Gord’s passing. Our first of many years of contact with Gord was at Cobourg Lumber in the ‘60’s when we were building. It was always a pleasure to meet & deal with him. Always a smile, joke & some great chats. Always a true gentleman, Gord was a true example of someone who made this world a better place.
