Passed away peacefully at her home in Tweed on Wednesday January 18, 2023 at the age of 73. Beloved daughter of Martin and Kathleen Lang. Loving mother of the late Tammy, Dan, Kathleen Bradshaw (Mike), John (Monika) and Colin (Yvonne). Proud grandmother of Connor, Liam, Aidan, Breanna, Kallum, Nikki, Lucas and Sebastian. Sister of the late George (late Mary), the late Cathy (Howard), the late Jane (Sam), the late Billy, the late Margaret, Barbra Lang Walker (the late Glenn). Marilyn was born and raised on the family farm in Cobourg. She was an active union representative in the UFCW, fighting for the rights of all workers. She was a passionate believer in human rights for all. A visitation will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home 30 King St. E., Cobourg on Monday January 23, 2023 from 6 to 8 pm. A service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday January 24, 2023 at 1:30 pm. Donations may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.

We will miss Aunt Marilyn she was always the light of any family get together. Her smile always made you feel welcome and loved. Our hearts are heavy and our thought and prayers are with all of you. With our deepest love and sadness for a lose of such a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

I had the pleasure of spending a lot of time with Marilyn.She had a great sense of humor and had the best smile and laugh. She cared deeply for other people and was an advocate for working people. My sincere sympathy to all the family. I attended Cook's School with Marilyn and her sister Barbara. I have such fond memories of birthday parties at the Lang farm with hay rides and fun at the barn. RIP Marilyn.
