Blair Douglas McColl passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 24, 2022 at his residence at the age of 61. Blair was born on May 16, 1961, in Cobourg, Ontario. Son of Hugh Reginald McColl (1977) and Marie Lillian McColl- Behm (nee: Sandercock). Brother to Reginald (Heather), Warren (Mary Ellen), Scott (Barb), Penny Anne (Paul) and Wanda. Blair retired from General Motors in Oshawa after 30 years of service and lived a quiet life in Cobourg. Although his life was not easy. He over came his alcoholism and lived the best he could with his daily health challenges. Blair is best remembered for his love of fishing, his endless gift of gab and his jovial laughter. A visitation will take place at MacCoubrey Funeral Home Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 2:00 – 3:00PM followed by a service at 3:00PM. Friends and family will then be welcomed to a reception at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home reception room following the completion of the service. Cremation to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Although I only knew Blair &his brother Scott I knew Blair when he dated Janet she had 2 sons I only remember the youngest son James I have only seen Blair once in many years as I moved away from cobourg in Oct of 1999 I saw him 1 time I was there in cobourg he told me he finally quit drinking I was very glad to hear that may you rip Blair tou eere a lot of laughs RIP my friend he knew me as Marie Broegelmann

I grew up with the McColl family and remember Blair for his quick wit and sense of humour. We had many laughs in public school. I am so sorry and my sincerest condolences to the family.
