HARRIS, William Thomas Joseph peacefully on Thursday December 8, 2022, in his 98th year. Beloved husband of the late Sharon (nee: Relf). Loving father of Rick (Kelly) of Milton, Terry (Dayle) of Camborne, and Laural (Stephen Murray) of Trenton. Proud Papa of Rachel (Ivan), Thomas (Samantha), Paige (Jacob), and Grandpa Bill of Nathan (Ashley), Drew (Tiffany), and Sabrina (Andrew). Dear Great Grandfather of eleven. Predeceased by his siblings Mary Bray, Joan Whyte, Dorothy Harris, Tom Harris, Mary Harris, Winnie Carruthers, Hazel Harris, Cedric Smith, Beatha Spry, Walter Smith, and Muriel Crossen. Lovingly remembered by his in-laws Marilyn and Lawrence Dolley and Connie and Orville Gardner, as well as several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to a celebration of life at the MacCoubrey funeral home Sunday, December 18, 2022, from 11:00AM – 2:00PM. A sharing of memories will take place from 12:30 -1:30PM. Cremation with interment to be held at a later date. If desired, donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 133 or the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation. A special thank you to the staff and friends at Victoria Retirement Living. They made the past few years a happy and comfortable place to call home.

Willie was a good friend of mine back in the day. He was an ardent go-cart driver. We used to go all over southern Ontario representing the Cobourg Go Kart club. I knew Sharon quite well also. It really hurts when old friends pass away, so sorry to hear about Willie.
My sincerest condolences, Rick, Kelly and all of Bill's family. It was a pleasure to serve Bill when he came to Wimpy's. He had a great sense of humor, truly will be missed.

The first time I met Bill he held the door for me while I carried in furniture for a new resident at Victoria Retirement. He was a true gentleman. We would sometimes meet at the coffee maker and he'd walk me to the room or office. Rest in peace Bill. Frond , friendly memories. Thoughts and prayers with you Terry, Dayle and Paige.
