Peter passed away on Nov 26 a few days shy of his 84th birthday. Peter landed in Burlington with his family in 1952 from the Netherlands. He was part of a family of 11 children.
Peter was the loved and cherished husband of Margaret (van der Molen) for 61 memorable years. He was a committed family man, devoted father to Mona (Peter), Nancy (Bruce) and Susan (Kirk). He was the proud Opa of Kayleigh, Jackson, Davis, Jamieson and Griffin.
Peter spent his working years in the produce industry in and around Burlington for 5 decades. He was an avid gardener and handy-man and passed along many skills to his daughters and grandchildren.
Peter had a strong faith in God; he was always a gentleman treating everyone with kindness and respect.
Peter will be greatly missed by Margaret, the girls, grandchildren, family, friends and church congregation.
