Emma Jeanne Nielsen

(Former local French Immersion teacher, affectionately known as Madame)

Passed away peacefully following a long and courageous battle with cancer at Penticton BC. Hospice on Thursday November 17th, 2022. She is survived by her husband Ronald Hoath and her sons Tim Miller (Heather) and Jamie Miller and pre-deaceased by her daughter Corina Miller Jones. Loving grandmother of Courtney, Tyler, Stephen and Boden and great grandmother of Hannah, Wrenna, Beau and Emily. Also survived by siblings Helene, Bonnie, Sue and brother Rick. Pre-deceased by brothers Rudy and Billy. An interment service will be held at Cobourg Union Cemetery in the spring of 2023. If desired donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. The family wish to thank the nurses and doctors of Moog and Friends Hospice, Penticton, BC for their compassionate care.
