It is with much sadness and love that our family announces the peaceful passing of Lillian at Extendicare Cobourg on Friday October 28, 2022 in her 89th year. The loving wife of Joseph for 61 years until his passing in 2017. Loving mother of 2 daughters, Cynthia Murphy (Len), and Sandra Chapman (Neil). Grandmother to Jill Beaulieu (Andrew), Lisa Lapointe (Shawn), and Jammie Cole (Ian). Great grandmother of Ella and Elijah Cole and Sutton Lapointe.
Lillian was a dedicated worker with Kraft General Foods for 30 years.
But the real love of her life was spending time with her family, her grandchildren and great grandchildren who brought much joy to her heart.
We would like to send a very heartfelt thank you to all the nurses and PSWs in the Poplar wing of Extendicare for the love, compassion, and care of our Mom during her time there. Also, a special thank you to Tofique for always making her smile, right up to the end, you held a special place in her heart. She will truly be missed by all.
A private family gathering will take place at a later date to celebrate Lillian’s life.

To the Cassidy Family I am so sorry to see Lillian has passed away. What a wonderful person. I was lucky enough to met and work with Lillian at Kraft Foods. A good worker with a great sense of humour she will be missed
