Kimberly Ann Morin

July 3, 1973 - October 25, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kimberly Ann Morin on October 25th 2022 at the young age of 49. Soul mate and best friend of Larry Morin, mother of Kassidy Morin (Andrew), Drake Morin (Alex), step mother of Derek Morin (Hanna). Sister of Chantal LaRiviere (Julia), brother of the late Kevin LaRiviere and special Auntie to Lila & Linden. Cherished daughter in law of the lateRene & Helen Morin. Pet mama to her little Scamp. Kim was a proud Indigenous woman from the Chippewas of Nawash. She carried her Anishinaabe teachings throughout her life. Kim’s passion was cooking and would spend hours in her Dream Kitchen making delicious food for family and friends. Kim loved weekends at her “little slice of Paradise” on Armstrong Lake in McKellar. The wonderful owners Kim & Otto truly took care of us, our second home and made our time memorable. Kim found great happiness visiting Amy and all the four legged creatures at Old Mill Alpacas. She had a great support team at our home, Terri, Melissa, Grace and Barb thank you for showing Kim such Love. We wish to thank the Angels at Northumberland hills hospital, Colleen, Janet, Karen and Colin for making Kim very comfortable and showing her such love and compassion. Fly with the Angels my love, you are Free. As per Kimberly’s wishes there will be no service. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Canada.

A limb has fallen from the family tree
That says grieve not for me
Remember the best time,
The laughter the song,
The good life I lived
While I was strong

I’m truly sad to hear of the much too early loss of Kim. She was always warm and welcoming to me in her home, and raised such loving kids, Kassidy and Drake, who treated me like family. Kara Morris - October 29, 2022

So very sorry to hear of Kims passing. I had the pleasure of attending Sault College with Kim from 2009-2011 where we completed the OTA/PTA program. She was a spitfire and a force to be reckoned with. We enjoyed girls nights out with Palm Bays and great company! I always appreciated Kim’s ability to connect with the spiritual world and was so amazed by her gift. I hope her family will find comfort in this and feel her near. Rest peacefully Kim, you will be missed.

Kim, Otto & family - October 29, 2022

She leaves behind a very heartbroken family here. It was our pleasure to make her piece of paradise so near and dear to her heart. Will miss seeing her out on the floaty. Forever in our hearts.
