Enjoyed many years talking to and emailing Ed my first cousin. He was adept at sending Emails of all descriptions. Moreover we talked a lot about the family and our years of service as peace officers. Generally we had the same experiences a number of which were delightful and humorous. Will miss our moments but he will be remembered for years to come. Please accept my sincere condolences and prayers.
My dad, retired OPP Constable Wally Jordan #2029, often talked about his good friend and colleague Eddie. I believe they were also classmates in Cobourg. How very interesting they both joined the OPP! Dad just passed away April 2 of this year. I’m sure they are enjoying each other’s company once again in the Hereafter tonight, telling stories and having a great time. My sincerest condolences to all of Eddie’s family and friends. We will all be together again some day.
Great to have known you Ed. A great guy and always enjoyed our chats. RIP and condolences to the family. Bob and Jackie Munro.

Throughout those years we were often captivated by his funny jokes, humorous stories and helpful information about life in Cobourg. We found him to be compassionate and joyful. He loved books, sweets and remembered a good Scotch. A life well lived. He will be missed
My condolences to the family and all of Ed's friends for their loss. For the last four years Ed has been my neighbour and I will sadly miss him for the many conversations we had over the dividing wall between our balconies. I'm so sorry to hear of Ed's passing. He always seemed to me a little larger than life, full of stories of the bygone days of policing, some of which weren't always "politically correct." (But, hey, that's how it was, back in the day.) I always enjoyed seeing Ed, whether at OPPA meetings when I worked there, at Chapter 8 Vets meetings, or occasionally even around Cobourg. He will be greatly missed by many people. May he rest in peace.
