Peacefully at her home in Cobourg on Tuesday, August 16th, 2022, Inge Link (nee Emmrich) at 95 years of age. Cherished wife of the late Guenter Link and partner of the late Gerhart Petry. Predeceased by her sister Ruth and her parents Erich and Hilda. Also missed by her extended family and friends. Cremation with private interment at Cobourg Union Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home Reception Centre, 30 King St. E. in Cobourg on Sunday, September 11th from 1 to 3 pm. Those wishing may make a memorial donation to Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice or the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation.

Knowing Inge was a pure privilege and a real pleasure for me. I have benefited and learned so much during our friendship and meetings. I will always remember and miss those times. I have greatly missed Inga’s quick smile. Her need to laugh and have fun was to her as necessary as breathing! I loved that about her. A wonderful inspiration for a life well lived!!

Dear Petra, loving friend to Inge to the end. I am so glad that I got to know Inge better in her last vital years as a member of Inner Wheel of Cobourg and, Friday lunches. Her life stories of WW II years brought another dimension of understanding of the word Courage. She was beautiful and gracious inside and out.
