William Reid Hagemeyer

March 15, 1937 - August 2, 2022

Bill passed away peacefully after a long journey of health issues on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. He was surrounded by his daughters, his oldest son and his dog, Kobe.

Bill was predeceased by his wife of over 61 years, Lady Georgina. He was a devoted and caring father to Richard (Karen Robinson), Russell (Antoinette Forcione), Carolyn Joy Wadman (Bill, Sue), and Cathie Cope (Harry). Bill will be deeply missed by those who called him Paw/Grampa; Danny Hagemeyer (Nicole), Andrew Graham (Anita), Elizabeth Hagemeyer, Krystine Wickins (Jer), Julie Hagemeyer (Marc-Andre), Joshua Wickins (Shiloe), Willie Graham (Amanda), Kevin Hagemeyer, and Justin Wickins.

Bill will be missed by his extended family and his very dear friends who meant so much to him these past few years.

Bill lived a life full of love and laughter; he would want us to never stop smiling and living our lives to the fullest.

Special thanks to Dr. Mulé, the Community Care team and most of all the incredible staff at Ed's House; Bill enjoyed his stay at this 5 star resort as he called it!

A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, August 7th at 12pm at Peace Park in Cobourg by the playground.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any charitable donations to either Northumberland Hills Hospital or Ed's House.
