Bill passed away peacefully after a long journey of health issues on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. He was surrounded by his daughters, his oldest son and his dog, Kobe.
Bill was predeceased by his wife of over 61 years, Lady Georgina. He was a devoted and caring father to Richard (Karen Robinson), Russell (Antoinette Forcione), Carolyn Joy Wadman (Bill, Sue), and Cathie Cope (Harry). Bill will be deeply missed by those who called him Paw/Grampa; Danny Hagemeyer (Nicole), Andrew Graham (Anita), Elizabeth Hagemeyer, Krystine Wickins (Jer), Julie Hagemeyer (Marc-Andre), Joshua Wickins (Shiloe), Willie Graham (Amanda), Kevin Hagemeyer, and Justin Wickins.
Bill will be missed by his extended family and his very dear friends who meant so much to him these past few years.
Bill lived a life full of love and laughter; he would want us to never stop smiling and living our lives to the fullest.
Special thanks to Dr. Mulé, the Community Care team and most of all the incredible staff at Ed's House; Bill enjoyed his stay at this 5 star resort as he called it!
A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, August 7th at 12pm at Peace Park in Cobourg by the playground.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any charitable donations to either Northumberland Hills Hospital or Ed's House.

Although I'd have loved to attend the memorial, I won't be able to Cathy.. Our hearts and prayers will be with you all as you celebrate your wonderful fathers life! It was a privilege to have met him even though it was only a few times with his little dog! My love to you all!!🙏🏻❤ RIP to your sweet dad!
All my love to you all. We will miss Bill as much as we already miss Lady. They were both such treasured members of the family. I’m glad you could all be together at the end.
We share in the loss of Bill and will dearly miss him along with his family members and many friends. We have been friends with both Bill and Georgina since 2003 and have enjoyed sharing many happy activities and breakfast get-togethers with them over the years. We will miss his stories, his humour and his positive outlook on life. Rest in Peace dear friend. Until we meet again.

To the family of Bill my deepest sympathy. Bill was a coworker of mine for many years at Columbus McKinnon Ltd. He was very kind and I remember a good sense of humour. I also know he loved the game of golf And at a CML golf tournament one if the first we all had great time. He was also there for me when my Terry and mother passed and for that I am grateful. It was such a privilege to care for your Dad during his final days and we are pleased he rated us 5 star! It was wonderful to get to meet the Hagemeyer family, he was fortunate to be surrounded by your love and caring.

My Mother and Father-In-Law, Bill and Helen Scott, were life long friends of your parents, grandparents. They are now re-united, with only a short time passing, in between. Such a fine man! Bill and Georgina were both huge supporters of our Hospital and it was a privilege to know them. I'm .tThinking of the entire Hagemeyer family at this sad time.

Bill will, indeed, be greatly missed by the extended Beck/Hagemeyer clan. His love of life and his laughter were a wonderful part of our reunions. Our thoughts are with his immediate family. We wish we could be part of his memorial at Peace Park. Hugs to all.
