Peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Friday, July 29th, 2022, Betty Jo Lowther (nee Leigh) at 78 years of age. Beloved wife of Ronald Lowther. Loving mother of Kelly Lowther (Gary Thoms) and Tom Lowther (Belinda). Cherished grandmother of Meagan Abraham, Madelyn Abraham, Callum Abraham, Katelynn Lowther (Charles Welham), and Jenna Lowther. Dear sister of Marilyn Holmes (Gregg) and predeceased by her siblings Anne Schuman and Ronnie Leigh. Cremation with private family arrangements. Those wishing may make a memorial donation to the Northumberland Hills Hospital – Dialysis Unit.

Ron, sorry to hear about your loss. I always enjoyed talking to her during many times through her career in the Hospital Pharmacy. Betty was a soft spoken lady and enjoyed conversation with her as a friend as well. Wonderful memories.

So very sorry for your loss. I enjoyed working with Betty at NHH pharmacy for several years. She took me under her wing and was a great mentor. She was so funny and had so many great stories. She was a great lady and I know she will be greatly missed
