Peacefully at Springdale Country Manor, Peterborough on Friday, July 22nd, 2022 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Elizabeth Godin (nee Connolly). Loving father of Rick Godin (Ann), Grant Godin (Linda) and the late Carolyn Godin. Cherished grandfather of 5 grandchildren. Dear brother of Julie Horgan and the late Roland Godin and Martha Lombarczki. Friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St., E., Cobourg on Tuesday, July 26th at 2 pm. Visiting will be held an hour before the service from 1-2 pm. Interment in Colborne Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, we request donations to the Red Cross in support of Ukraine or a charity of your choice.
Hi Betty, It is with a saddened heart that I learned recently of Cedric's passing. My deepest condolences to you and to Rick and Grant. Cedric, and your whole family were such a blessing to us, God is good and we are all very thankful that you were all a part of our lives and introduced us to the love and grace of our Lord and Saviour. I pray the Lord gives you peace and strength. Cedric's kind being will be missed. ❤
Dear Betty, I'm sorry for your loss. It's Peter, Raymonds son. There are some people who walk into our lives and you are never the same again. You and Cedric are two of those people. You changed my life forever, primarily by witnessing to my mom and dad while in Coe Hill, who accepted Christ as their Saviour. Many years later I also accepted Christ as my Lord and Saviour. The fruit of love from both of you was made manifest. Praise God that Cedric has gone back home to once again be with his heavenly father and creator. Hallelujah!!

Rest Peacefully, Cyd. (that is what we always called him, when we worked together at Columbus McKinnon). Very nice man and a pleasure to work with . He was a man of strong faith. He is now enjoying his eternal rewards, Sincerely, Carmel Scott.
