Passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her family Sunday, July 10th, 2022, at the age of 80. Pre-deceased by her first husband Edward Usher and second husband Burrell Hadden. Mim will be forever cherished by her partner Warren Harvey. Loved mother to Kerry, Greg (Diane Clarey), Cheryl (Nick Van Huizen), and Jim (Cathy Derry). Pre-deceased by her daughter Vicki Usher. Grandmother to Elizabeth, David, Lena, Steven, Mitchell, Bradley, Bailey and Jamie. Beloved sister to Betty Churchward. Mim will be deeply missed by her many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. As per Mim’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will not be any services at this time. At a later date, Mim will be laid to rest at the St. Mary’s Grafton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation.

My sincerest condolences to the family of Mim. I just learned of her passing and fondly remember all the times we spent 'hanging out' with anything related to the Northumberland Orchestra and Choir. She always had a smile and that smile I will cherish. Mim was a very important part of the film, Making Overtures-the Story of a Community Orchestra!! I am sure your Mom and Grandma is singing with the Angels. Hugs to all the family.
To Mim’s children .. your Mom was a busy talented lady who shared her gifts in so many ways. I felt proud to call her my friend. She loved her family above all. Hold tight to your memories, she will live on through them.

I first met Mim when the NOC was formed and we spent years singing, working together, and sharing life stories. I am so blessed to have had her as a friend.
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mim. She and my mother, Margery Parker, worked together on Girl Guides through the 1960's. We lived in Wicklow on the south side of Hwy. 2 and the Ushers lived straight south of us. My Mother would want me to acknowledge her friendship with Mim and their teamwork with Guiding.

My mom introduced me to this nice lady she was singing with in choir. Mim quickly made a soft spot in my heart as well. Although I havent seen Mim for a few years it brings tears to my eyes to see this notice. To Mim's family I am sorry you have lost such a warm big hearted mom/ grandmom / sister/ partner.
Mim was a special person to our Hospital and Foundation organizations. I enjoyed many years seeing her out and about in the Hospital as she volunteered in various units. She was one of our biggest fans and I am grateful for the opportunity to know her. May she rest in peace.
Mim was a long time member of the Northumberland Hills Hospital Auxiliary! She dedicated 29 amazing years and even was president of the Auxiliary board for a portion of this time. We were all so fortunate to have had Mim's support and guidance at NHH. She will be sorely missed by so many. Sending lots of love to her family from her friends at the hospital.
I spent many happy years volunteering at the hospital with Mim. I offer my sincere condolences.
