I think of the times we had at your apartment in Winnipeg on Kennedy, how I used to come over washed out from the day and we would climb into your fabulous bed and talk until the day did not feel so bad. You were a amazing, creative, beautiful person and will be dearly missed.

Christoper, I honestly don’t even know where to begin. When I first heard of your passing last year, literally right after my accident. I truly couldn’t find the words, I couldn’t accept that this was possibly the reality. I thought it was just a nightmare that I’d wake up from. Here I am, coming up on a year later, and I still feel the same way. I just cannot accept that you are just.. gone. You and I know what loss is, better than most. We have had to say goodbye to some of the most important people in our lives far too early.. There is not a single day that goes by that I don’t think of you, or the time that we were lucky enough to spend together. You got me through some of the darkest days I have ever had to endure in my time thus far on this planet… You were a light in the dark to so many people. A spectacular human being that will always, always have a place in my heart & soul. You were taken far too early. I just take solace in the fact that you are no longer suffering. I really wish you had answered the phone in those weeks leading up to your diagnosis. I really wish I had been able to hear your voice one last time. I love you, Christopher. I always will. xoxo

Being fairly new to enter Chris’s realm I was impressed with his determination to continue to enjoy his life. He was a kind & generous soul with a dash of spunkiness. His many, many friendships attest to his life while shortened, well lived. RIP Chris.

Known Christopher for the 15 years I have been at Moneris and it is difficult and sad to hear this news. HE is at peace now. My thoughts are with the family and all his friends as we think about his great personality, sense of humour and spirit.
