DANTCHICH, Nina (nee Boichuk) - Peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at 90 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Demetry Richard Dantchich. Loving mother of Andrea (Moe Jabouri) and Michael (Paula Jones). Cherished grandmother of Alexandra and Maya. Dear sister-in-law of Anne Pashkoff. Godmother to Deanna, Carol and Frances. Predeceased by her siblings Serge, Mary, Jennie and Peter. She will be missed by all her nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. A Funeral Service will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E. in Cobourg on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at 12:30 pm. Interment to follow at Cobourg Union Cemetery. Visitation to be held at the funeral home from 11 am – 12:30 pm. Those wishing may make a memorial donation to the Community Care Northumberland or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

I have fond memories of Nina when I was a young teenager working at Zellers. We worked in “ladies wear” section and she had that place organized and was so kind to us younger part time girls. May she Rest In Peace.

Andrea and Michael, I have such wonderful memories of Nina from our childhood - she was so kind and patient with us! She continued to be a warm and friendly presence in the neighbourhood during my visits back to Cobourg. She will truly be missed. Thinking of you.
I have known Nina since I was a teenager and worked with her. She was a very special person. Even all these years later (over 40) she always remembered me and had time for a chat. I will miss her. My sincerest condolences to Mike and Andrea and their families.

To Nina's Family, I was a driver for Wheels of Hope for the Canadian Cancer Society and had the opportunity of driving Nina for radiation treatments in Oshawa. She was such a cheerful passenger and incredibly thankful for my services. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations during the drives. I'm sorry to learn of her passing. My sincere condolences to all her family!
I worked at Zellers during some of the time that Nina also worked there. I always enjoyed chatting with her and often seen her at No Frills shopping. She was always pleasant. Rest in peace Nina.
