Scott passed away on June 20, 2022, surrounded by his family at his home at the age of 61. Scott was born on June 3, 1961, to his parents Grace (nee Theobald) and the late Carl Chapman. Loving and devoted partner of Paddy (Patrick) O’Riordan and cherished by his children Kevin (Lissa) and Rachel (Matthew) and their wonderful mother, Christine (Andy). Brother of Marlene (Eric), Lorraine (John), Roy (Eva), the late Doug (Marg), Dan, Brenda (John), Shelley (Ted) and Tracey (Eric). Immensely missed by his family and friends, including numerous nieces and nephews and special sister, Billie Ball. A celebration of Scott’s life will be held on Saturday July 9th from 12 – 4 pm. at the Keeler Centre, Colborne. In lieu of donations or flower, Scott has requested that if you see someone who needs a helping hand, do so and remember him. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered for his kind soul and selflessness.
We were so sorry to hear of Scott’s passing. We were LCBO colleagues and have many fond memories of working with him. Deeply saddened to learn of Scott’s passing. I had the privilege of working with Scott for over 15 years. He was a person who always made you feel welcome brightening up your day with a quick smile and his wry sense of humour. Scott was as genuine and honest as he was dedicated and generous. Someone you knew you could count on for advice, support, or guidance. Quite simply, he was a good person. My sincerest condolences to Patrick, Kevin, and Rachel. Your husband and dad will be sorely missed but always remembered.

Uncle Scott - what a legend! Kind, funny and very thoughtful. Always gave the best hugs and made you feel like you were the only one that mattered when he called you "sweetie"!
