Hugs to the Timlin families. Mr. Timlin had a great influence in my younger years , having Him as my Grades 5 & 6 teacher. During recess he would allow us to stay in and we would bring our record player and the girls would dance at the back of the classroom with no nonsense. He taught us many sports, but best of all, baseball….To this day, it is one sport that I enjoy to watch and understand it.lol I spoke with Mr. Timlin just a week before his passing and we had a lovely chat. RIP Ewart. Pam and Carmen

Bonnie, his daughters, and all of Ewart's family this is such a sad task for me to wish such a great friend goodbye. He always had my back. He was always full of fun. The one thing I know is that #1 in his life was his family whom he adored then came his sports. He has left a wonderful legacy in both. My deepest condolences and love. Sharron

Bonnie and family. So sorry to hear of Ewart's passing. As a child going to Camborne school Ewart was one scary dude. Big and tall and had this serious Mr. TIMLIN thing going on. But, then I got to know him from the fastball side of life. I played the game in my youth so we often crossed paths on tournament weekends or mom would take me to Cold Springs games through the week. That's when Mr. Timlin became Ewart. Beer in hand sometimes, other times in some poor umps face discussing the wrong call he'd just made against Ewart's player. Always and I mean always living for the game of ball and his family and friends. He was so friendly and enjoyable to be around. Bonnie, my eyes leak for you and my heart hurts. I know that big guy will be so missed. Karen (Morton) Hall

Dear Bonnie, Tammy, Tracey, Sandra and family, Ewart was a man that needed no introduction as he was so well known as a teacher, Cold Springs Cats player, prominent member of the community and a family man. We watched him at the ball games from Reta's porch and the memorable moments the California Cuties came to play and yes, Ewart was a great sport when they got him involved....oh the laugh I can hear it now. I saw E.T. on Thursday walking down the street on the way back to your house and the disbelief when the news came that he had passed. Dear Bonnie, Tammy, Tracey, Sandra, and families, Roger and I are sending you our deepest sympathies. Your family has been an integral part of our lives since the early 1970's, when Ewart recruited Roger for the Cold Springs Cats. From Bonnie babysitting Angie and Shannon in the early 80's to Ewart teaching Shannon in Camborne, .... there are many fond memories both on and off the ball field. Ewart excelled at "bringing out the best" in everyone he taught or coached along his life's journey. We truly believe that Ewart's influence on our family has always been a very positive experience. He was a life long friend that we will sorely miss, but his memories will live on in our hearts!

Bonnie, Tammy, Tracey & Sandra and families: So many memories of ET that began for me back in 1970 in the township. All of his teams and individual players became part of the Cats family and got to experience so much success at the various levels that we played. From those experiences so many of us have become lifelong friends. We will always remember the Ewart and Bonnie team as the integral part of any success we had. Our great memories and thoughts will be with you for the times ahead. Thanks for everything ET.

I am sure we could not catch ever thing thrown at us.I felt honoured to have a chance to be that catcher. Thanks Ewart
