It is with heavy hearts the family of Marjorie Elizabeth Avis Quinlin (nee: Ward) announce her passing at the Northumberland Hills Hospital Sunday, May 15, 2022, at the age of 86. Marjorie passed peacefully and has now joined her beloved husband Joseph Quinlin and son Richard in Heaven. Marjorie is the loved and cherished mother to Kenneth, David, Brenda (Larry), Diane, and Rosemary (Gary). She is the loved grandmother to 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 Great-Greatgrandchildren. Marjorie will be fondly remembered by her siblings Reginald Ward and Lois Ward, her sister-in-law Barbara Bamber and her many nieces and nephews. Marge will be greatly missed by her jamboree partner, Gail Peters. Marjorie is pre-deceased by her parents Frederick and Irene Ward, as well as her siblings Jean, Doris, Barb, Freddy, Jack and Ronnie. A visitation will take place at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King Street East, Cobourg Ontario Wednesday, May 18, 2022, from 10:00 – 11:00 Am followed by a service at 11:00 AM. Marjorie will then be laid to rest at the St. Michaels Cemetery, Cobourg Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or The Northumberland Hills Hospital – ICU.

I have many fond memories of years gone by spending time in Burnley with Aunt Marge, Uncle Joe and all of my cousins. You always made us feel welcome and let us kids be kids and have a great time even though there were alot of us.
