I am deeply saddened to hear of Paul's passing. I met Paul in 2020 as he was recovering from the lost his wife and was in search of a way to fill his days by developing new social connections. He reached out to me to fill any volunteer position that PROBUS Club of Bobcaygeon needed help with. Fortunately we were in search of a Treasurer which matched perfectly the accounting skills Paul acquired from his past business and social experiences. Of course Higgins was at always his side and also became a cherished member of the start up team, encouraging us all with his tail wags and antics - he was even featured on our website as our founding mascot. Paul was an integral and valued member of our group. He shared his opinions generously and spent hours researching and creating a accounting system that complimented our sometimes baffling membership management programs. This was no simple feat for Paul. However, with tenacity and time he conquered the connectivity and technology challenges that come with living in the wilds of Head Lake. Paul and Higgins will be sorely missed at our meetings and gatherings by those who were fortunate to get to know and work with him.

Very sorry to hear of Paul’s death. Paul was a good neighbour and a good person.

Peter & Donna Brotherhood - May 11, 2022

WE are so sorry to hear of Paul's death. We knew Paul and Sue through St Peter's Anglican Church. We admired Paul as he cared for Sue with her lupus. As well as being a superb caregiver, Paul was so handy with construction projects in their new home located north of Cobourg. Paul was a loyal member of our Men's Club at St Peter's. We like to think that Paul and Sue are united on 'the other side'. May they both rest in peace and rise in glory!
