So sad to hear this she was a lovely lady my husband and I delivered papers to her as well did a few odd jobs for her, she was very nice to talk to and you to see her sit on front porch, hugs to all friends and family she seemed she lived a good life and everyone will miss her

So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I spent many good years at the Stanley house. Lots of laughs and good times. In later years I would stop to chat with Mrs. Stanley while she was sitting on the porch. My heart goes out to all.

Donna and families, so sorry to learn of your Mom's passing. For a while a few of the neighbours would bring their lawn chairs to the front flower bed and enjoy an evening chat while we waited for the yellow Evening Primrose to open. We always enjoyed Laura's company. Bob had planted the flowers. The flowers would open we would say our Good Nights then retreat until the next evening. A pleasant evening out for all.

I look back at the goodtimes had and remember the kindness shown to my family when we relocated to Ontario. Straight Off the island I had not met most of my family unless they returned to CB. Laura and Ralf always had an open house. Always had a bit to eat and family gatherings. I remember great parties. Thank you Laura you will be lovingly remembered. RIP. We are so sorry to hear of Mrs. Stanley’s passing. When we moved to Bagot Street 12 years ago, Mrs. Stanley was one of the first neighbours we met and she greeted us warmly. As her next door neighbours we enjoyed chatting with her at her favourite spot on her front porch and seeing her out feeding and enjoying the rambunctious squirrels in the backyard. We will miss her. Best wishes to her family, she always seemed so proud of her big brood.

My heart is sad,I have great memories of Aunt Laura and always so kind to me and I will miss sending her Christmas card each year.RIP and hugs to my family xoxox
