Peacefully, on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Northumberland Hills Hospital, in his 71st year. Beloved husband of the late Debra (nee Spry). Son of the late Ernest and Winnifred (nee Fisher). Loving father of Jennifer (Aaron Crawley) and Nancy (Payton Whitney). Cherished grandfather of Charlotte. Dear brother of Nancy (the late Mac Campbell) Crowe, Joan (the late Wayne) Davidson and Don Robison. Hardy will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, fellow Legion members, the Kelly’s crew and the Friday golfing boys. A celebration of Robert’s life will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022 from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. at the Cobourg Legion Branch #133. Donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #133 Poppy Trust Fund would be appreciated by the family.

I am so sorry to hear the passing of this amazing man. On behalf of 598 Sabre, we will continue to remember Mr. Robinson for all he has done for his community, the legion and for our unit. May he Rest In Peace.

Many of times he helped me peal potatoes & he always gave me left over gravy (his was always better than mine), He is surely going to be missed by all who knew him. I have so many memories of Bob and Deb and the many adventures we went on. If only those van walls could talk!!!!! Thinking of the Robison family at this difficult time. Bob was a fixture around town and he will be greatly missed. I take comfort that my Dad and most of his friends are together once again.

I offer my sincere condolences to Bob's family. We all knew Bob for his extensive work in support of the Cobourg Legion, with assistance recently from his daughter Jennifer. While I did not know Bob well personally, I got a sense of his sense of humour in the past couple of years as some of our combined responsibilities overlapped. All of us connected to the Legion will miss Bob and it will fall on the rest of us to try to fill his shoes. We will remember him.

Bob(Hardy,Numbers etc) and I worked together dispatching for Smith taxi when I was in high school. I always enjoyed running into him and chatting and will miss the same phrase often repeated every time I saw him.."Save any basements lately?" RIP Bob Boy.

I've only known Bob since right before Covid hit from our time at Kellys. We'd sit and talk and banter back and forth and shared many laughs. He loved his family especially his granddaughter who was his pride and joy. My condolences to his family at this time
