It is with heavy hearts the family of Frederick “Fred” Henderson announce his passing Sunday, May 1, 2022. Fred passed peacefully in his home surrounded in the love of his family after a courageous battle with cancer. He leaves behind his soul mate and wife, Barb Henderson (nee: Woodruff) of 36 years. Cherished and loved father to Jesse (Kaelee) and Steven. Beloved grandfather to Klara and Isabella. Fred will be deeply missed by his mother Myrla and pre-deceased by his father Allan Henderson, as well as his in-laws Margaret and Kellie Woodruff. Loved brother to Kim (Tim) Clarke, Cathy (Brett) Foster and Carol Bird. Brother-in-law to Ang and pre-deceased by his brother-in-law Ron Cook. We can only image the trouble both are now getting up to together. Fred will be deeply missed by his nieces and nephews Keirstyn, Kaitlyn, Chevy and Mitchell. Fred loved life, his favourite thing was to play in the dirt. I’m sure he’s up there now digging a basement and telling everyone how it should be done. RIP my love. A celebration of life will be held at the Fenella Community Hall, 8071 County Road 45, Fenella, Ontario Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 1:00 - 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sick Kids Foundation.
