Peacefully at Extendicare in Cobourg, surrounded by her family, on Monday, April 18th, 2022, Helen Duncan (nee Nelson) at 95 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Walter Duncan. Loving mother of Elizabeth “Beth” Butters (Neil) and the late Keith Duncan (Connie). Cherished grandmother of Michael Butters (Courtney), Alyssa Butters and great grandmother of Carlin Butters. Predeceased by her siblings Gertrude Taylor (Lew), Stanley Nelson (Pauline), Craig Nelson (Mary) and Ruth Eskine (Donald). Also missed by her nephews, nieces and extended family. Cremation with later private interment at Burnbrae Cemetery in Campbellford. Those wishing may make a memorial donation to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Cobourg or to a charity of choice.

We have good memories of Helen as she and Walt were such good neighbours to Scott's mom Irene. We would sometimes chat when were visiting next door. She seems to have had a long and happy life. Thinking of you with sympathy today.
