Zelma Cameron (nee: Clemence) went home to heaven to be with her Saviour, Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at the age of 77. Zelma passed peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital surrounded in the love of her family. Zelma is remembered most for her love for her family and her Lord, for her caring heart, and her gift of hospitality. Beloved wife to Henry Cameron of 51 years. Cherished mother to Robert (Sasha) and Ron (Joanne). Pre-deceased by her daughter-in law Mary- Lynne. Zelma was the loved grandmother to Hannah, Adriana, Nathaniel, Elise, Joel and Grace. She will be deeply missed by her sister Joan (Milfred) Harper and her brother Reginald (Barbara) Clemence. Loved sister-in-law to Bob (Jackie) Cameron. A visitation will take place at the CHURCH ON THE HILL 594 Courthouse Road, Cobourg, Ontario K9A 5J6 on Friday, April 22, 2022, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Followed by an 11:00 AM funeral at the CHURCH ON THE HILL. Upon completion of the service, a burial will take place at the Cobourg Union Cemetery. Friends and family are then welcomed back to CHURCH ON THE HILL for a reception. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Church on the Hill.

Zelma and her husband Henry were a big part of my childhood years. I always enjoyed visiting their home and attending church service together. My condolences Henry and family. She was a lovely lady who will be missed dearly.
We were saddened to hear of Zelma’s passing. However she really has been promoted to Glory. We have the assurance and hope of seeing her again. You and the family have been so loving and faithful caring for her. She will certainly be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Henry, so sad to hear of Zelma's passing and without doubt, she will be missed. The sadness is the loss of her presence but as a believer and one chosen by God, adopted as His daughter and given an eternal hope we can rejoice that she is now with her Lord dwelling in the comfort of His presence. May you be blessed in the hope and joy that you have in the Lord in the promise of being united with her again when the Lord returns for His own. You and your family are in our prayers during this time.

Sorry to hear of Zelma Mae. She was my big sister first year of EPBC in Peterborough. Good memory of going to her home on long weekend. Was it sarnia area?

Don't know how many years you and Zelma put up with me but I am thankful and feel blessed to have known you, both. That hollow feeling, that "hole " that appears in our being when someone special has gone home - fill it up! Fill it to overflowing with memories! Pack it so full that it is bursting! Some of these will make you cry, some will make you laugh, some will just bring a comfort - all are God given because He's with you all the way. My Condolence to Cameron Family I was once called as John-Glenn Conway but change it to my mother family mame Mrs Cameron was a good friend to me When church on the Hill was once called Glad Tidings Pentalcostal Church . Ron Cameron is good friends to my Mom Heather and my sister Bonita I'm so sorry that I'm not up there in vist in person do pendemic and no buses an with my job I feel even worst that I'm feeling know but we will meet again and that Mrs.Cameron is in Heaven Know. So very sorry to hear of the passing of zelma…I remember her from many years ago,before she was married,she shared an apartment with a nurse friend in moms home…I was a young girl then, but enjoyed many chats with Zelma over that time…She was so kind and was so caring…Deepest sympathy Lori Everson Andrus
