Peacefully, on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Warkworth Place in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Conrad. Loving mother of Richard (Karen) and the late Robert. Dear and devoted grandmother of Mark, Mary (Riann) Connolly, David, Jon (Nadine), Kaitlyn (Janek Szyjka), Steven (Adriana), Pieter (Kerri) and step-grandmother of Jonathan Smyth, Stephanie (Chris) Johnson and Simon (Krys) Smyth. Mary will be sadly missed by her 15 great grandchildren. Cherished sister of Pearl Tyler, Emerson Richards, Milburn Richards and Bernice Larkin. A private family service will take place in the spring. Donations to Trinity United Church or the Northumberland Hills Hospital would be appreciated by the family.

Mrs. Stinson was the greatest neighbour , as kids we would knock on her door to be greeted with her glowing smile and a treat always . My memories of her and Con will always be imbedded in me . My genuine heartfelt thoughts to a Super Lady .

Dear Richard, Karen and Family of Mary, I had some lovely visits with Mary in her sitting room and on the garden patio on behalf of the people of Trinity United Church. Mary was a gracious woman and we recall when she and Con attended church and wanted her to know that we did not forget her. Together we would say the Lord’s Prayer and I know that the Lord is faithful and true to all of His promises in Jesus Christ and she is with her Lord. Remember with joy the example that she lived and be glad for her life shared with great grand children even.
