To Liz & Kathy I am sorry to hear of Betty's passing. She was one of my favourites. I knew Betty before she was married to Buck. Carolyn (Kelly) Ziegler - January 22, 2022

Aunt Betty meant the world to us. I have so many happy memories of spending time with her and Uncle Buck, right from when I was little and eating way too many of her treats, listening to the grown-ups talking. The stories Uncle Buck could tell! And Garry too - oh my goodness, how he could make us laugh. The communion candles melting in the car was a favourite of mine. And how Bobby's car was held together with bubble gum. I had the great honour of being at private masses that Garry held in Aunt Betty and Uncle Buck's living room. Aunt Betty was a mainstay my whole life and my link to my grandmother, her sister Agnes Desjardins, who died the year I was born. I am forever grateful that she was in my life for so long. I will carry her love with me until I die. The world would be a much kinder and gentler place if everyone had an Aunt like her. Love to all her family and friends, Kelly

Dear Aunt Betty, Our family have fond memories of your gracious hospitality to us Western Canada cousins. Uncle Buck's fisherman's breakfast got us started every morning, before you took us out and about to see the sights of Cobourg and meet up with other family members - usually over a fine lunch nearby. Was it the Windmill at the Golf Course? In later years, Jane and I would visit PEC but always looked forward to an excursion to Henry St. or to the Brighton half way point for lunch at the Applebox (I think it was called). We were very interested in our family tree. What a wealth of information you provided - wonderful anecdotes and photos of growing up as the youngest in a large loving family. Up there in heaven, your many brothers and sisters must be thrilled to have you join them. You'll be sorely missed down here. Love to you and your family, from your Calgary family.

Aunt Betty 's passing brings to an end an era I will not see again. The Bond kids, all 15, were truly unique. She, in a quiet, loving way was what I remember and describe as having class. When visiting you always felt drawn into her .You were made to feel not just welcomed but that all things stopped just to catch up.
