MESSAGES OF CONDOLENCE / DONATIONS

Frances Varden - May 17, 2022

So sorry to hear of Ann's death. She was a very positive presence in Cobourg and always had a smile for everyone.

Pennie Dinnage - January 18, 2022

So heartbroken to hear of Ann's passing. She was such a wonderful woman. Growing up, she was our favourite Mum. Always put a smile on our faces and greeted us with open arms and believed in us when we weren't quite able to believe in ourselves. I always made a point of seeing her when I made my way back to Ontario. Such a beautiful human being who touched the hearts of everyone who was so fortunate to know her. My thoughts are with you Sue, Mel and your families.

Duane & Rick Hoffman - January 17, 2022

Memories of Ann & a special spot in our hearts.Ann was a true Ambassador for NHH. The hours of volunteer work every single day for years. The amount of money raised for NHH was remarkable. Anne greeted everyone who entered every day of the week with a personal greeting & a huge smile. Ann & Rick had an on going kibitzing running joke between them all the years Rick was a volunteer at NHH. Ann was there & so knowledgeable & so willing to help anyone coming in. Just the kind of warm comfortable greeting people want & look forward to when entering a hospital. Ann’s Short Bread cookies were the absolutely the best….I would love to get the recipe. Ann enjoyed her social contacts at Bingo & she won quite often. A heart🧡 of gold🔔a smile & laugh of angels. Always remembered & missed.

Jamie West - January 17, 2022

Ann was a true gift to NHH, for her many hours volunteering. She sold many Nevada tickets as a fund raiser, but more importantly, she was a welcoming smile upon entrance to those who may have needed it coming to have uncertain tests, or visiting sick loved ones. Such a blessing! Ann’s delicious shortbread were unmatched. RIP Ann
