I have such fond memories of Helen. What a gem she was, always with a ready smile for everyone she met. Helen was truly one of a kind and I am so blessed to have known her. I always looked forward to working with her at the CPL. It was my first job at 14 and she always made me feel welcome and supported. She was such a kind and gentle soul. I cherish the memories I have of our time together. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.
I'm so sad that we've lost such a dear, gentle soul. I always found Helen inspirational, and enjoyed her lively interest in the world around her.

Deepest sympathies to all of Helen's family - I have great respect for Helen - she was a regular in my fitness class at the Y until she was 88 when she told me she had to leave the class because of her age - very impressive that she played the violin into her 90's - a fine lady indeed

Heather and family: Helen was a delightful person to know- so enjoyed her droll sense of humour. We will miss seeing her with her violin at NOS concerts- she was just “always there”! We were privileged to have known her. Barb and Ron Swallow

Dear Family, Myself and Helen's Trinity United Church Family will miss her presence very much. To have known her as a librarian, violinist and Christian has been a pleasure. She was a calm presence with determination to live and play music until the end! She is now with her Lord and Saviour with whom are all the promises of God. 2 Corinthians 1:20.
Sincere condolences to Heather and family - your Mom was such a sweetie - I always liked chatting with her when we met. May your memories sustain you with this loss.
Heather, Allison and families I have many fond memories of your parents at Bethesda Church. Your Dad had a booming voice (enjoyed his sermons) and Helen was soft spoken and gentle mannered. Hold on to those memories. We will be praying for all of you
Oh wow. I am so sorry for her passing. She was a wonderfully inspirational person. My condolences to her family and her friends. Peter
To Alison, Heather and your families, I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I think it's always a shock to lose a mother, no matter what the age. I remember your Mom as a lovely, calm, gentle soul who cared deeply for her family, community and music. It's amazing that she continued to play in the orchestra until covid put an end to that. Thinking of you all and sending big hugs. Gillian Cowichan Bay, BC
To Heather, Alison and all the members of the Walker family - my wife Heather and I were saddened to hear today of the death of Mrs. Walker. We had enjoyed knowing her during our many years living and working in Cobourg, and also enjoyed knowing that she had lived in Fergus (where both of us grew up and now live once again), and reminiscing about there years there when i remember your father teaching at Fergus High School. We also shared a mutual love of music, and it was always delightful to see her contributing her talents in the local symphony. But most of all we will remember her friendliness and warmth whenever we had the chance to meet. I am sure you will have a lifetime of wonderful memories of her to comfort you n what I am sure are some difficult days. Brad Halls, 670 St. David Street South, Fergus (formerly of Cobourg)
Dear Ursula and family, We were all very saddened to hear about your Grandmas passing. We all enjoyed her visits, her quick wit and sense of humour. Hoping that your shared memories will sustain you through this very difficult time. Peter, Mark, Cristol, Debbie and Cristol
I worked with Helen at the library many years ago. I was a high school student at the time and I remember how very kind she was to me. Sending condolences to her family and friends
