Unexpectedly, at home, on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at the age of 77.
Predeceased (2019) by her beloved husband Ben.
Loving mother of Lisa (Ken Cole), Lori (Mark Geens) and Brian (Diana Niedzwiedzki). Cherished grandmother of Melissa Sutcliffe, Jonathan Sutcliffe, Emily Geens, Elizabeth Geens, Noah Geens, Hugh Daignault and Harry Daignault and great grandmother of Carter Boynton and Curtis Boynton.
Much loved sister of Susan Smith (David), Janie Baldwin (Gary), Douglas Turnbull (Dana), Sally Dakers (David) and Robert Turnbull (Donna).
Dear sister-in-law of Sylvia Young (late Basil), Fred Sutcliffe (Barb), Eileen Manion (late Joseph) and the late Mary Russell (Elwood). Much loved aunt and friend to many.
A life well-lived, well-loved. As the oldest of six, she kept the family legacy alive for her younger siblings. A great role model for all of us.
Mom loved to bake and sew when we were kids. We loved the cookies, not so much the matching outfits!
She enjoyed travel. Acapulco was mom and dad’s most special place.
Mom was a lover of fine things and had a large collection of beautiful dishes, linens, books and art. She missed her calling as an interior designer.
She was well-read and enjoyed keeping up with the news. The TV was always on.
Mom and Dad loved Coronation Street. Mom had only recently been able to start watching it again on her own.
A very special Grammy/Granny who made the best mac and cheese. She enjoyed her close relationship with these special young people.
She was so proud of all of us and had a way of making each of us feel special. We sure will miss her quiet beauty and grace, but we know she is reunited with her soulmate, Ben. A private family graveside service will be held at Bethel Grove cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. If desired donations may be made to Northumberland Hills Hospital or an act of kindness towards others would be appreciated.

You will be sadly missed. We enjoyed spending time with you and Ben at the Lake,
Sharon was a lovely pen pal and also Ben before her. We met at Acapulco 30 years ago and had a wonderful 3 weeks with them. They were a lovely couple and we enjoyed their varied conversation. We had many late nights together and had such fun, of course we were all much younger then, so could stay up late, not so now... we are the same age!! I will really miss our correspondence, she never told me how ill she was, I did not know how bad things were, she kept it from her Scipt....Bless her. She and Ben are now together and that is nice, we will toast them both at Christmas and look at all the Photos... such good friends from across the Pond, they will be sorely missed. All our Love to you Sharon and Ben from your Pen Pals, Nadine and Ted XXXXX Condolences to their large family and best wishes!!

I talked to Sharon on December 4th which was her birthday and we had a wonderful conversation. And, again on the 6th to wish her well on her final procedure. I know Sharon as a lovely lady who always called me dear, darling or honey. She was a regular visitor to Beyond The Blue Box which is a store, one could donate used items or buy eye-catching antiques or treasures. Sharon visited often, mostly arriving to greet the wonderful volunteers that worked there. She was as happy to see them as they were to see her. Sharon was a friend to Gail Downs & Jenny Carter as well as Barry who are volunteers at Beyond The Blue Box. ❤️
Our sincere sympathy to you and your family on the passing of your mom.

Lisa and Kennan family. So sorry to hear about your Mom. What a wonderful smile she had
As a teenager about 50 years ago now, working at Zeller's part time when your lovely mother was the Personnel Manager there, I thought she was the epitome of beauty and style. She was always smiling, seemed to "glide" as she walked. She was so kind to everyone and obviously she carried on her graceful way throughout her life. With my deepest sympathy for your loss.
