Peacefully at Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice in Cobourg on Sunday, November 7th, 2021, James “Sleep” Dawe at 87 years of age. Beloved husband of Catherine Dawe (nee Darling). Dear father of Terry (Paul Watts), Karen Dawe, Daniel Dawe (Sonya), Robert Dawe (Janet Beveridge) and predeceased by children Bob Dawe, Laurie Ansley, Tina Conners. Cherished grandfather of Adam Dawe, Angie Morrison, Jeremy Sunday, April Dawe, Joshua Dawe, Kelly Dawe, Alicia Dawe, Stephanie Dawe, Jamie Boerman, Nikki Ansley, Lindsay Conners, Lacey Conners, the late Bobby Conners and also missed by his 27 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Survived by his sister Barbara Bonnie Dawe and predeceased by his siblings Robert Dawe, Jackie Dawe, Mike Dawe, and Pat Dawe. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life on Saturday November 20th from 2 - 4pm at 432 Duffy Street, Cobourg. Those wishing may make a memorial donation to Ed's House Northumberland Hospice.
