Peacefully, on November 3, 2021, at Northumberland Hills Hospital, surrounded by her family, in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Charles “Joe”. Loving mother of Douglas (Deborah) Bailey and Christine (Max) Bevan. Cherished grandmother of Sarah (Matt) Green, Brandon (Lynn) Bailey, Mitch (Sara) Gladney, Brooke (Matt) West, Brett (Kaity) Bailey, Bailey Bevan (Brandon Monery) and Zoe Bevan (Cam McNaughton) and great grandmother to eleven great grandchildren. Dear friend and sister of Verna Casselman. Forever in the hearts of her extended family and friends. The family would like to thank Dr Marcus Cunningham, Dr Phil Stratford and the staff at NHH and Extendicare Port Hope for the care and compassion shown to Barb in recent months. A private service will be held at Cobourg Union Cemetery, Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Northumberland Humane Society would be appreciated. I met Barb during my time working at Empire Crossing. She had great style and taste, her suite was always decorated so nicely. She always made me laugh with the observations she made. May you rest in peace, Barb!
