Passed away peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital on Friday October 29, 2021. Beloved daughter of the late Cecelia Bester. Dear sister of Joseph “Joey” Bester and the late Elizabeth Bester. Barbie will also be missed by her extended family at Christian Horizons and Hope Street Terrace. A big thank you to the staff at Christian Horizons and Hope Street Terrace for their years of friendship, love and kindness to Barbie, a special thank you to “Momma” Linda at Hope Street Terrace for her love and support over the years. Barbie was a kind and lovable soul, she loved to dance and swirl in her dresses. Barbie was famous for always having one of her, or at times all of her, “babies” with her. Barbie loved her hugs and always had a cheerful “Hello”.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 10th, at St. Michael's Cemetery, Cobourg.

So sorry to hear of Barbie's passing. I used to care for her at George St. Christian Horizons. She had a fear of dogs and when going for a walk had to avoid dogs whenever possible. She loved her dollies. Helen Glenn
God Rest her soul. I used to see Barbie and Joey at Mass every weekend, with their Mom, Cecelia. She was very good at keeping them in line (Insert smiley face). The years sure fly by.
