Yvonne I wanted to pass along my condolences. Bill was a terrific man and will be dearly missed. I had so many wonderful conversations with Bill at Dalewood and on the driving range over the years and I will miss seeing him out there. May he Rest In Peace.
To Yvonne and family: My sincerest condolences to you. My remembrance of Bill goes back to high school days at Malvern Collegiate. Bill appeared to be a free spirit with a happy personality. Although we were not close as couples our paths seemed to cross once in a while. When my time came to say goodbye to my partner Bill and Yvonne were there for me. It is with great appreciation I mention this and send along my thoughts and gratitude. Sincerely with love - Marlene Lee

Bill, Thank you for your warmth and good humour on every occasion. You always had time to listen and engage in conversations ! As a former colleague says on this page you cared about the people you met . I’m sure that in your role as fire chief you showed that same generosity of spirit and concern to families who were in crisis. Your friendship and bright smile will remain with all those you touched .
With great sadness I was sorry to see the notice of Bill's passing. My condolences to the family. As a past TFD firefighter myself, I had the opportunity to work with Bill and I had great respect for the man. He was kind, easy going, knowledgeable, with an uplifting attitude and well respected as a person and officer. He will be well missed by all his family and his peers. Remember the good times. Till we meet again, Retired ('04), Acting District Chief Rick Chayko
