It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Norman (Norm) at the age of 90 on October 29, 2021 after a brief illness. Norm will be sadly missed by the love of his life Dorothy, passing just shy of their 70th wedding anniversary. Norm and Dorothy had five children, Teresa (predeceased), Robert Gordon (Richard), Marlene (Gord), Pauline (Paul), Norman (Cyndi). Proud Pappa to 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Norm was born in Rexton New Brunswick and was one of 12 children born to Adolphe and Osithe LeBlanc. Norm is predeceased by his siblings Vince, Rita, Paul, Raymond, Flora, Germaine and Chuck. Norm leaves behind his siblings Lorraine, Jeannine, Anne, and Bill. In healthier times, Norm could be found with his bandmates playing the accordion at country fairs, or entertaining at various seniors homes. Norm was a member of the Cobourg Lions and helped out at events throughout the community. The family would like to thank Dr. Bhargava and the staff at the Northumberland Hills Hospital for their compassion and care provided to Norm. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Due to covid restrictions, a private family service and burial has taken place.

I'm sorry to hear of Norm's passing. I got to know normal little when I worked at Palisades. I remember one night that the entertainment had bailed and what did Norm do he went and grabbed his accordion and he sat down and entertained the residents that we're living there. Playing the accordion it's an amazing thing because you have to do three things at once. You will be missed Norm.
