Our heartfelt condolences to the Bloom family on Jean's passing. Jean was a caring, loving woman who welcomed our family and the entire Pond clan as her own; her warm hospitality was always evident when we would visit. She cared lovingly for her late husband Everest, our grand- & great-grandfather. We are thankful to have known her, and rejoice that she is with finally her Lord whom she served faithfully over the years. May Jean's family find comfort in the hope of heaven and seeing Jean again.

To all of Jeans family. Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the passing of your Mom/Grandma/Great Grandma. Jean provided care to our son Michael while Mommy worked at the Y childcare.( 1986-1988) She was adored by all of us. I remember Michael was turning 3 just as I was deciding to stay home and do the very job Jean was doing. She through him a birthday party. I can see the kids happy and content in her care. She was a perfect role model for me. My goal was to always have the children who left me care to be as happy as my son was as he left Jeans each day.May she rest in peace and forever remain in the warmest corners of your heart. Judy

Dear Jean, I'll always remember daycare at your house. One day you said we'd watch movie with kids falling out of a boat - that was the sound of music, and we watched it about 100 times that summer. I remember you in the kitchen making lots of food for us kids, and there being lots of laughter. We loved it at your house, you were like a dear Aunt. I'm sure your family will miss you immensely, I'll miss you..... but am smiling at all the great memories and the amazing legacy you leave. Rest in peace xo

Reg and Janice Buck - October 20, 2021

Jean was a Godsend when we moved to Cobourg. Referred by her daughter Janice (our wonderful neighbour) she looked after our boys as well as many other children. When they were too young to attend Awana, she made up booklets and packages so that she could do them with them at home. They were always anxious to tell us about the great lunches she would make for them. What a blessing to have a wonderful Godly woman caring for our boys. You will all miss your mom and grandma, but praying God's comfort and peace for you. Cherish the happy memories and take care of each other. Rest in peace Jean! You deserve your heavenly rest. Reg, Janice, Brad and Justin
