With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Ken Petzold at Northumberland Hills Hospital on September 9, 2021 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Cindy (nee Skinkle). Cherished Father of Tina and Tim (Shawna). Loved Grandpa of Brittany, Samantha (David), Cole and Avery and Great Grandpa of Vayda, Charlotte and Cameron. Loving brother of Delores Sommers (late Bill) and predeceased by Howard (late Marg) Petold and Dorothy (late Lorne) Weppler. Special Uncle to Gary (Jackie). Predeceased by parents, Bill and Irene Petzold. Ken will be fondly remembered by the Mother of his children, Sharon, and also by the Skinkle family. Greatly missed by his fur baby nemesis, Max.
We hope you have already had a jam session with band mates who went before and a game of golf or curling with good friends you have missed.
A special thank you to the nurses and doctors of Northumberland Hills Hospital. Your care and concern during this difficult period meant so much.
As per Ken’s wishes there will be no service. A celebration of life will be held in future. Those wishing may make a donation to the Heart and Stoke Foundation, Northumberland Hills Hospital or charity of your choice.
