Peacefully at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Thursday, August 19th, 2021, Harry Neutel at 86 years of age went to be with his Lord. Loving husband of Deet Neutel (nee Wiersma). Harry will be remembered with love by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings and friends. A private family service will be held at Grace Christian Reformed Church. Livestreaming of his service will be available via www.gracecrcofcobourg.org/live-stream.php beginning on Monday August 30th at 10:45 am. Those wishing may make a memorial donation to World Renew.

So sorry to hear about Harry's passing. We misses our yearly meetings with him after he retired. He always seemed genuinly happy to see us and catch up on all our family doings. It was inspiring to see his Love for God and for Deet. He will be missed.

Lieve familie, Graag wil ik mijn oprechte en innige deelneming tonen bij het verlies van Harry .Voor ons nog steeds Harm. Op de foto’s zag ik een blije en levenslustige familieman ,die heel erg gemist gaat worden. Maar ik zag ook de vele prachtige momenten die als dierbare herinneringen gekoesterd zullen worden. Zelf vind ik altijd veel troost in de belofte die in Openbaring 21:1-5 staat. Ik wens jullie heel veel troost,kracht en liefde voor de toekomst. Jullie nichtje Gé. Dochter van Wolter Neutel.

I cannot imagine a world without Uncle Harry in it. Without his bear hugs and teasing grin; his laugh and the twinkle in his eye; his love, care, and attention for all his kids, grandkids, nieces, and nephews. Always one to greet you with a hearty hug or handshake, I have many fond memories of working with Harry on Session and other projects at St. Andrew's. Deet, my condolences to you and your family. I am honour to have known Harry. I sought him out as a mentor when I first served as an elder with him 22 years ago. Most recently I had the opportunity to share past joys and challenges with him but more importantly to thank him for his support and appreciate him for who he is. I remember Harry as a smiling light. His sparkling eyes and comforting accent made you feel heard and important, even in a passing greeting. As a child, student, and staff member, his support of NCS and Christian education was obvious and appreciated. On behalf of my family, and NCS, we thank you for sharing Harry with us and pray God's comfort and blessing in this sad time.

During my 35+ years living and practising law in Cobourg, I was fortunate to know Harry, his wife and several of their children, so I was able to see first hand, in times both joyful and challenging, the love he had for his family. I know you will have a lifetime of warm memories to comfort you in these difficult days of loss.
