I just learned of Naomi’s passing today and I am deeply saddened to hear she is gone. Naomi was a beautiful soul who was funny, generous and genuine. She was wonderful to work with professionally and also became someone that I was honoured to call a friend. My thoughts are with her family as they navigate through this terrible loss. I will miss her smile and laugh and I will always regret that we were never able to get together for that post covid glass of cheer that we had planned to do so many months ago. Goodbye my friend. May our paths cross again one day.

Naomi was wonderful to work with a just a kind and genuine person. She was easy to talk to and saw the best in people. She went out of her way to help people and was hard-working. She loved her pup and cherished her husband Eldon and was the most proud mom of Adrian. You only have to talk to her for a short time to know how important the people in her life were to her. She was taken from this world far to young, she was maybe to perfect for this world. I’m saddened by the hole that is left by her being gone for those who loved her the most and my heart breaks for them for her to be gone. Please find comfort in knowing she really was as wonderful as you will remember and that even someone not as close to her knew that you were her whole world.

My deepest condolences to you Eldon & Adrian. My heart aches for the two of you. I still cannot believe Naomi is no longer with us. Her smile and her open arms she greeted each and everyone of us was geniune. This is a long road for you both and please know we are all here to help in any way that we can.

To Eldon, Adrian and all of Naomi's family, including Diesel Mae, there are truly no words that can express the tragic and sudden loss of this amazing woman. I am grateful for the positive contributions she made for the betterment of our community. I will always cherish the time spent working side by side, endless hours, nights and weekends 'for the cause' as we called it. Even COVID couldn't put a damper on her drive and creativity to keep the Alderville machine rolling. Thank you Eldon for sharing her with us. Naomi was such a treasure, a rare gem. I'll forever hold onto my many happy memories I have with her, lucky enough to work with her at Student Services for a short time and then again for a short time at the Administration office. I am sooo sorry for your sudden loss of such a beautiful person! I was just talking to Naomi a few weeks ago and she was talking about how much she loved her new garden and greenhouse! We were both laughing about being newbies growing veggies and learning the rookie move to not have to plant every seed in the package (as with both ended up with mass amounts of one plant) she was so helpful with anything you needed within this community. She was always so happy and such a positive person! Sending everyone all the love and strength in the coming weeks and months as you work through this new world without her xoxo

I will truly miss her kindness. She diffently was a blessing to many of us and no one like her. I am so sorry for your loss. She makes us want to be a better person just from knowing her.

I remember the first time I met Naomi, she welcomed me in with open arms and some shots. She gave me a place to spend the night with my family so we can all enjoy Thanksgiving together which turned into am anual tradition. Treating me as one of her own from the beginning, I never once felt uncomfortable or out of place. Always smiling, laughing or trying to do something for someone just an ultimate joy to be around. You will be dearly missed with your 'boujee' self. Rest in internal peace.
