Peacefully, while surrounded by family, we are sad to announce that Clifford Robert Page passed after a brief illness at Northumberland Hills Hospital on July 12, 2021.
Cliff was the beloved husband of Myrna (Adams) for 68 years. Loving father of Garth (Denine), Gary (Trudy) and Barb Linton (Greg). Proud grandfather of Corey (Jazmind), Lindsey (Nick), Laura (Matt), Kayla (Cameron), Alex Linton (Hannah), Cameron Linton (Sarah Kim) and Benjamin Linton (Katelyn). Great grandfather of Gretchen, Sterling, River, Olivia and Sofia.
Clifford was an outstanding craftsman who ran a local business with his brother Clarence and his sons in Cobourg and surrounding area since 1945.
Cliff especially loved “good ole Rice Lake”, the cottage, boats and music. A legacy and tradition that he has passed on to all his family.
A memorial service will be held at Trinity United Church, Cobourg on Monday July 19th at 1:00pm. Those wishing to attend must RSVP at www.MacCoubrey.com by clicking on Clifford Page’s link. Cliff's service will be lived streamed and can be watched here.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff of Northumberland Hills Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity United Church, Northumberland Humane Society or Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation.
Eric & I were so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing, Barb. Extending our caring thoughts to you & Greg & family. Carol
I learned just this morning of Cliff's passing. My parents and I were next-door neighbours, for many years, of Clarey and Marg on Major Street (at #356); over that period, numerous pieces of our furniture were revitalized through the superb upholstery services provided by Cliff and Clarey. To this day, I still have some of those pieces! To Myrna and family, my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Truly a life well lived...

So many memories of his quiet strength, gentleness, and giving kindness from those very early years on College Street to the most recent visit of a few years ago on Spencer.
