Ev was "like a brother" to me. We spent a lot of time together talking about everything. Ev was the shape of my Dad and the things his Dad said when he was growing up was what my Dad said. We liked all the same things. We talked about trucks and busses, butchering and his Mom playing the piano. Ev and I remembered our faith and going to Camp Meetings. His apartment was my second home. He would sit outside my apartment and listen to my piano playing. I didn't know he was there. Then Ev would clap. Family, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Thanks for sharing Everett with me.
