Peacefully, at Regency Long Term Care Home, Port Hope on May 5th, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Helen S. Love. Loving father of Leslie (John O’Connor) Love and Carl Warren (Pamela) Love. Cherished grandfather of Kaia and Theo Love. Beloved brother of Bill Love and the late Ruth Garden. Fred will be sadly missed by his relatives, friends, neighbors, church and military community. He will also be missed by the many choirs he sang with, and all those who were able to share with him, his love of music and singing. A private service will be held for both Fred and Helen at the end of June. If you would like to make a donation on Fred’s behalf, please consider Trinity United Church, Cobourg or a charity of your choice.
Dear Helen, We were very saddened to hear of Freds' passing. We always looked forward to yours and Freds visit to We-Fix-U. He always had stories to share and a very quick wit. We hope that the many memories that you made together will help you through this difficult time. Sincerest Condolences, Peter, Mark, Cristol and Debbie The We-Fix-U Chiropody Team
My late husband & I were members of T-StA in Brighton during Fred's ministry there. I enjoyed Fred's speaking voice and singing voice, and his sermons and sense of humour. We were unhappy to lose him. Church became kinda mundane after that. My warm condolences to his family.
Dear Leslie, Carl and families, We knew Fred Love for his gentle wisdom and for his big booming bass voice. He was a great soul and we extend to you our sympathy at this loss in your lives. Anne and Paul Burnham
My thoughts and prayers are with you Leslie, Carl & Families. You guys take care of yourself and each other. Until we meet again. Gary.
We were gifted by having Fred as our minister for a time at Trinity United Church and we are very thankful for his continued presence with us in the choir and the life of Christ's church on earth. The love of God and Fred's faithfulness through life were very comforting to us. We are confident that he is with Helen and Jesus Christ whom he faithfully served. You have the peace and assurance of Christ that remains with you always.
Very sorry for your loss.
