Peacefully, at Regency Long Term Care Home, Port Hope on May 5th, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Helen S. Love. Fred will be sadly missed by his relatives, friends, neighbors, church and military community. He will also be missed by the many choirs he sang with, and all those who were able to share with him, his love of music and singing. A private service will be held for both Fred and Helen at the end of June. MESSAGES OF CONDOLENCE / DONATIONS

Ivana Ioannoni - October 27, 2021

I just learned of Fred & Helen's passing. Please accept my sincere condolences. They were both so nice to deal with and talk on the phone over many years. Always kind and pleasant. May they rest in peace. Ivana Ioannoni Retired CIBC Wood Gundy

Sorry for your loss.

Carol Gray - June 22, 2021

Helen and Fred were kind and caring neighbours, always happy to check on how you were doing and sympathetic to the needs of others. Fred reliably shared garden produce with neighbours and was the person who initiated a street directory to keep neighbours in touch. Fred and Helen were wise and witty conversationalists and I very much enjoyed their company. My condolences to their families who must miss them profoundly.

Joey Boltin - June 21, 2021

I always enjoyed talking to Fred and Helen. They were bright, compassionate, caring and dedicated to each other. They were lovely neighbours and are missed. My condolences to Leslie and Carl and families.

Carole Anderson - June 11, 2021

My late husband & I were members of T-StA in Brighton during Fred's ministry there. I enjoyed Fred's speaking voice and singing voice, and his sermons and sense of humour. We were unhappy to lose him. Church became kinda mundane after that. My warm condolences to his family.

Anne and Paul Burnham - June 9, 2021

Dear Leslie, Carl and families, We knew Fred Love for his gentle wisdom and for his big booming bass voice. He was a great soul and we extend to you our sympathy at this loss in your lives. Anne and Paul Burnham

Alma and George Beston - June 9, 2021

We were gifted by having Fred as our minister for a time at Trinity United Church and we are very thankful for his continued presence with us in the choir and the life of Christ's church on earth. The love of God and Fred's faithfulness through life were very comforting to us. We are confident that he is with Helen and Jesus Christ whom he faithfully served. You have the peace and assurance of Christ that remains with you always.

Gerard Bondy - June 9, 2021
