Reginald Ronald " Reg" Williams

December 23, 1959 - June 5, 2021

On June 5th, 2021 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Reg Williams at 61 years of age passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Cora Williams (nee McKay). Cherished father of Natasha Williams (John Sweete), Reggie Williams (Michaella Shine), Amy Williams (Eric Dirisio). Loving grandfather of Carter, Colton, Caleb, and Caleigh. Dear brother of Al, Cal (Linda), and Debbie Shuflita (Tony). Reg was a man who had a lot of knowledge about everything, he was a walking encyclopedia for most things. He was always there to help anyone in need and was a jack of all trades; no job was too big or too small it just “took time”. He absolutely loved music; he would take part in karaoke on a cruise or blast music on the tv to sing along to. Reg was always trying to make others laugh, he adored and loved his family unconditionally. Reg will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and those that had the pleasure to meet him. The family would like to say a special thank you to the ICU unit at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, and to all the nurses who took care of Reg: Jackie, Emma, Jeremy, Sarah, Denise, and Pam. Cremation with a Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date. Those wishing may make a memorial donation to the Diabetes Canada or to SickKids Foundation.

MESSAGES OF CONDOLENCE / DONATIONS

Deb Shuflita - June 18, 2021

My baby bro Reg my heart has a big emptiness in it since you have left this world. I believe that we are somehow attached at the hip. Even though in the later years of our lives we didn’t physically get together as often as we should have I always felt a closeness to you! You will be forever missed and always loved. Your sister Deb XO………….

Robert & Maria Gonsalves - June 11, 2021

Our deepest condolences to Cora, Natasha, Reggie, Amy, grandchildren and extended family. Reggie and I met at work. He worked at the Air Canada Facility as an HVAC mechanic at Bay 8 and I worked next door at Air Canada Jazz as a GSC mechanic. We were work neighbours. At anytime of the day you could see Reg always having a smile and a mischievous grin on his face. We had a mutual friendship and admiration for each other. He was especially proud of his family. Reggie my friend and brother, sad that you left us so early. I’m sure the good lord has different plans for all of us. May you Rest In Peace my friend and May your memories last a lifetime for all of us. Great that our paths crossed even for a short time. Love Robert & Maria Gonsalves
