Joseph (Joe) Everett Warner

February 14, 1978 - May 22, 2021

Suddenly at his home in Colborne on Saturday, May 22nd, 2021, in his 43rd year. Beloved husband of Joanne Samis-Warner. Cherished father of Jeffrey, Nathan (Meghan), Travis, and Seth. Loving son of Dale and Brian Warner. Dear grandson of Shirley and Everett Warner and Jean and Donald Rogers. Brother of Scott Warner (Jennifer). Loved Son-in-law of Wendy and Bernie Samis. Brother-in-law of Katherine Samis (Sean), Ron Samis (Chyvone), Jamie Samis (Tracy). Also missed by many nieces and nephews. As well as extended family and so many treasured friends.

Joseph was a kind man, with an electric personality. He attracted people with his smile, quick wit and contagious laugh. He enjoyed the outdoors, coaching his sons and playing hockey and baseball. But his annual fishing trip with the guys was something he always looked forward to. He was an irreplaceable friend to all who knew him, and loved his New York Rangers and Toronto Blue Jays.

A public Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 7th, 2022 from 1 to 3 pm at the Castleton Sports Field in Castleton. Those wishing, may make a contribution at CIBC Bank Colborne, account # 7837488 to assist Joseph’s family (for E-Transfers use Warnerboys1978@gmail.com).

Joseph was a nice student in my class in Grade Two. One day he drew a lovely picture of Tom McDonald's brick house across the road. I had Tom come into my classroom and explain how Colborne's water system worked and Joseph gave him the picture. Tom was so touched by it. I will always keep that memory. Our thoughts are with you.
