Passed away peacefully at Regency Manor, Port Hope on Thursday May 13, 2021 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Davidson. Loved brother of Joyce Garland (Don), and the late Doreen (late Cecil). Dear friend and neighbour of Terry and Janet Linton. He was a humble man that led a simple life that he truly enjoyed. He loved to reminisce about hunting, fishing, farming and the 32 years that he worked at General Foods/Kraft. He truly enjoyed his friends at Victoria Retirement Residence. A private burial has taken place. Donations may be made to Victoria Retirement Residence. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Victoria Retirement Living for all of their care.
Stan and I both worked with AL in the cereal department of Kraft/General Foods. One would never find a better person to work with. He worked hard, shared the load and had a great sense of humour. He enjoyed hunting and shared many stories of his moose hunting trips. Neither Stan nor I can ever remember AL saying a mean thing about anyone. Rest in peace, friend. Colleen & Stan Walker
I’m so sorry for your families loss. My Dad Bob Brooks worked at GF with him for years and went hunting every year with him. He was a great guy! Rosemary Buttar
So sorry to hear of the passing of Allynn Davidson, my condolences go out to the family.
My mother and father (Harlan & Gladys Elder) were friends of Shirley and Allynn. I have very fond memories of visiting the farm and feeding the cattle with Allynn for the prizes from the GF in the barrel. I spent many evenings listening to Allynn play the juice harp and my dad on the fiddle. I have thought of them many times on my drives to Grafton pass the farm. He was a very hard working, soft spoken and kind man. My condolences to the family. Tammy Davey
Thinking of you and your family, he was a great friend of my father's Joseph Jubenville.
I am the daughter of Roy and Betty MacLean. They have enjoyed reminiscing with Allyn over the last few years at Victoria over music and jamborees. He will be missed. Our thoughts are with all at this time. Sheila Finlay Betty MacLean
Al was such a quiet and ‘gentle’man. I always enjoyed working and visiting with him. Rest well my friend. Condolences to the family he leaves behind.
My heart is truly broken, Allynn was my best buddy at Victoria, our water gun fights, our dance parties to box car willy and our dances in the dinning room were among my favourite times, he was an amazing man with a heart of gold, gave the best hugs and always a listening ear, he claimed a piece of my heart when we first met and will hold that place forever, I will miss MY Allynn xoxo

Sending deepest sympathies to the family of Al. I worked with Al at General Foods in the years between 1962 - 1967. We worked in the Jello Department together and had lots of good laughs. A nice, quiet gentleman.
