Jayne was a lovely light in our short friendship together after she contacted me about some artwork that she liked. I know she is at peace now. I wish healing energy on all her family. She bragged about you to me all very much.

I remember being alone at college and heard banging on the windows on my 2nd day - there was Jayne yelling out my name and waiving and I'll never forget that feeling of not really being "alone" in a new city. It made it less scary and I laugh everytime I think of that. - She just barged right in, gave me her number and it was nice to have a friend. I'm so sorry for your family's loss.

So very sorry to hear of the passing of Jayne. My deepest condolences to the family.

What a beautiful picture of Jayne in her jingle dress. She was so proud of her heritage and had a lovely smile that just drew you in. She so dearly loved her husband Josh who stayed by her side as did all her family. Her mom was always there, her siblings and friends. She shone a light on all of us. She thought a lot about her life and when she knew she was ill she took trip after trip to get the most joy out of life with people she loved to be with. Jayne was so happy to be able to come to her sister, Koren's, wedding. Jayne had such courage. She was so brave and fought the good fight until she couldn't do it anymore. Rest in peace my friend. You will always be remembered and loved.

A friend since junior kindergarten. Jaynebaawas one of the people in my life I shared so many firsts with. So many laughs and so many memories. She was beautiful. She was a warrior. I will miss her.

So many great memories of Jayno. Very sad for her passing. Very happy to of had many great laughs with her.

Our sincerest condolences. I had the pleasure of knowing Jayne, she will be sadly missed.

I first met Jayne in 1995 when I moved home from Winnipeg and took over the Alderville Prevention Program for awhile. I think Jayne was 11. She originally mutinied on me lol .... in after school program. What a spirit. And then when she was one of my summer students by the age of 17 or 18 she went to Vimy Ridge in France, for school I think. She was the first person I ever knew to go to Vimy. Because I’m a local historian I asked her to find the 3 Alderville soldiers name’s inscribed on the Vimy memorial. She took a picture of all three names and brought them back to me. She was a special person and was and will always be a unique spirit in the world.

I thought fondly of Jayne, she will be greatly missed. A big loss to our community ❣
