Peacefully, on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg, in her 80th year. Beloved wife of Roy. Loving mother of Kimberly Durocher and Frank Durocher. Cherished grandmother to 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Chester and Mary Gerrow. Dear sister of Bobby and Clevie (Winnie). Cathy is predeceased by her brothers Harold, Ted, George, Joe, Donald, Jimmy and her sisters Virginia, Mary, Bertha and three other sisters in infancy. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Cathy was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion – Hastings and the Rebecca. A private family service will be held in Nova Scotia. Donations to the Northumberland Hills Hospital or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Cathy was the perfect example of east coast hospitality and will be missed by our family. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers Roy.
My sympathy to Roy and family in the loss of your Cathy. She has been a church friend of mine for years. Her artistic talents decorated our Roseneath United Church each Christmas. Her donation of a beautiful tree and ornaments will always be treasured and displayed in years to come. Rest in peace dear friend.

Cathy was my very dear friend for around 38 yrs. We did everything together, crafts, shopping, lodge, moving homes, etc. She was a great cook and hostess. You never left her and Roy's hungry. She was small but mighty and always stood up for her friends. I will miss our regular outings to the hairdressers and lunch after. She was the best friend anyone could ever ask for, I will truly miss her. I know God saw her suffering and He came and wrapped His arms around her and took her home to be with the angels up in Heaven, that she so believed in. RIP my dear friend, I love you. ❤🕊❤🕊
